Today I am grateful for the sense of touch.
As I sit here and type Georgia is rubbing my arm. It gives her security to rub my arm and feel me there. And of course I love feeling her cute little chubby, dimply hand rubbing me. When I had her the nurses encouraged skin to skin touch to help the me and her bond. I love feeling my kids skin on mine. When I hug Christian I make sure our cheeks are touching. When Jason and I sit on the couch and watch TV we are always touching in some way. My feet on him, holding hands, his head on my shoulder. I love the 5 senses.

Today I am grateful for smell!
My children each have a certain smell. I love to get close to them and just smell them. My husband has a smell. My parents each have a smell. I love those smells. Smell can triger memories. Smell can take you back to a certain time and place. I can smell a perfume from my teenage years and it will remind me of something I otherwise forgot. When I bake I can smell the cookies, brownies, cake, whatever, in my hair. We often talk of "things" belonging to my parents that each child may want after our parents are gone. I have often said I want Daddy's pillow. It has his smell. Yep, I am extremely grateful for the sense of smell.

Today I am grateful for belly laughs.
There is no sound in the world like a deep belly laugh. Yesterday Christian and Georgia were playing and they both were laughing so hard. Just further proof how much Heavenly Father loves us!
